Megan Fung
Registered Occupational Therapist
Megan received her Bachelor of Science degree from Western University, completing an Honours Specialization in Psychology with a minor in Medical Science. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at McMaster University.
Megan first developed her passion for pediatrics working at a school for children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Here, she was able to develop skills in play-based approaches to therapy. Megan also has experience working with individuals with spinal cord injuries, acquired brain injuries, and individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. She currently works in acute inpatient care in a hospital setting. Megan has also previously worked on various clinical research projects, with a specialized interest in youth and adult mental health. These projects taught Megan the need for advocacy for vulnerable populations, thus she strives to advocate for her clients, integrating holistic approaches to provide client-centred care throughout her practice.
Megan is registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO). She is a member of the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists (OSOT) and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT).
