Michal Silver is a Registered Occupational Therapist with over a decade of dedicated paediatric experience. She earned her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Toronto in 2014, following a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Nutrition from the City University of New York in 2011. Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and a member of the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists, Michal blends academic expertise with a deep commitment to family-centered care.

Throughout her career, Michal has managed comprehensive caseloads across various educational and clinical environments. Since 2014, her work with private schools has focused on assessing and supporting children from pre-K through Grade 8. Her clinical expertise covers fine and gross motor development, visual motor integration, primitive reflex integration, sensory processing, and executive functioning skills. Additionally, her experience spans early intervention in neonatal intensive care units, inpatient rehabilitation, and eating disorder programs, reflecting her diverse background across specialized pediatric and adult settings.

As a mother herself, Michal brings a warm, empathetic, and practical approach to every therapeutic interaction. She works closely with parents, educators, and healthcare teams to build customized, actionable treatment plans. Michal is passionate about empowering children of all ages and abilities, helping them gain the confidence, independence, and foundational skills necessary to thrive in their daily lives, school settings, and broader communities.

Having relocated to Innisfil in 2024, Michal has loved becoming an active part of the local community. She remains dedicated to continuing professional development frequently completing specialized training in autism spectrum disorders and sensory processing to ensure her practice provides the highest level of care for the families she serves.
